This insurance service is provided by a third-party insurance company, Seel, Inc., and not by the Merchant Lavetir.com. The Merchant is not responsible for the administration, coverage, or claims process of this insurance service. This service is available in US, CA, UK, FR, DE, NL, AU, NZ.

Filing a Claim

If you need to file a claim, please follow these steps:

  • Check the mailbox used to place your order for a policy email from Seel. This email contains your policy ID and a list of covered items.
  • Click the "Report an Issue" button in the email to access your claims center and follow the instructions based on the specific issue you encountered.
  • If you are unable to open the link in the email, visit https://resolution.seel.com, enter your email and order number or policy ID, and follow the instructions based on your specific issue.

Definitions

The following terms define the covered events under this insurance service:

  • Delay: The Merchant Product is not delivered within 30 calendar days after timely shipment by the Merchant.
  • Loss: The Merchant Product is not delivered within 60 calendar days after timely shipment by the Merchant.
  • Porch Piracy: Express / EMS routing information indicates the package has been delivered but was not manually signed for, and the Customer reports to the Partner that they have not received the package.
  • Damage: The Merchant Product is visibly cracked, smashed, bent, crushed, or otherwise rendered unusable, excluding cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents), manufacturing defects, mispacking, or unsealed packaging.

Compensation

Compensation for covered events is as follows:

  • Delay: $5.00 (in the currency of the actual transaction).
  • Loss: The actual order value paid for the purchase (excluding discounts and shipping fees).
  • Porch Piracy: The actual order value paid for the purchase (excluding discounts and shipping fees).
  • Damage: The actual order value paid for the purchase (excluding discounts and shipping fees).

Insurance Premium

The insurance premium is calculated as 2% of the product amount, with a minimum fee of $0.98. The "product amount" refers to the price of the item(s) purchased, excluding any discounts and shipping fees. Compensation payouts are also limited to this product amount.

Refund

This cost can't be refund after order shipped.
